SR Solutions · Messaging
SMS terms and consent.
Sona sends text messages on behalf of the practice you booked with. This page sets out exactly what that means: what you agreed to, what arrives, and how to make it stop.

Program
Appointment notifications
SR Solutions operates Sona, an AI front desk used by healthcare and
service practices in New York. When a practice runs Sona, Sona sends
that practice’s appointment messages to its own patients and
clients. SR Solutions does not run marketing or promotional
campaigns, and does not send you messages about SR Solutions itself.
Consent
You give your number to the practice
You consent when you give your mobile number to the practice and ask
to be contacted about an appointment — by telephone with Sona
or a staff member, on the practice’s own booking form, or in
person at the desk. Consent to receive text messages is never a
condition of treatment or of any purchase. A practice may not add
you from a purchased or scraped list, and SR Solutions does not
supply numbers to practices.
Messages
Four kinds, all transactional
Booking confirmations; appointment reminders ahead of your visit;
an offer of an earlier slot if you asked to be on the waitlist and
one frees up; and notice if your appointment is cancelled or moved.
That is the complete list.
Example
“Hi Dana — confirming your cleaning at Bright Smile Dental on
Tue 21 Oct at 2:00pm. Reply C to confirm, X to cancel. Reply STOP to
opt out, HELP for help.”
A representative message. Every message identifies the practice by
name, so you always know who is texting you.
Frequency
Tied to your appointments
Message frequency varies and depends entirely on your own bookings.
A typical visit generates one confirmation and one reminder. There
is no recurring schedule and no message is sent without an
appointment, a cancellation, or a waitlist request behind it.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply
SR Solutions and the practice do not charge you for these messages.
Your mobile carrier may. Carriers are not liable for delayed or
undelivered messages.
Stop
Reply STOP
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get
one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after
that. STOP applies to the practice that texted you. Reply
START to opt back in. Opting out of texts does not
cancel your appointments — call the practice for that.
